Witness #1--> Paula Thrombold, the defendent in the case. She admitted to murdering her husband, Gavin Wright. She has since accused him of abusing her throughout their marraige. Gavin was a restaurant and grille owner, while Paula formerly had part-ownership Dust Bowl Designs, an interior design company. She has stated that Gavin is the only reason she sold her share of the business even though she loved her work.
Witness # 2--> Bailey Cross, Paula's former business partner and friend. She testifies to never liking Gavin for Paula. She was never comfortable around him and expressed these feelings towards Paula. Bailey suspected domestic violence due to Gavin's controlling yet charming personality. Bailey has never been married before and does not have any kids.
Witness #3--> Kerry Kelsor, MD. She is the current Director of the Family Violence Program at Presbyterian Hospital's Community Mental Health Center. She is a clinical psychiatrist who has devoted all of her time and research to understanding domestic violence ever since her own sister was killed by her batterer. She performed the tests to assess Ms. Thrombold's mental state, which uncovered that Ms. Thrombold suffers from depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder.
